Three worms lay on the grass: long and stretched, without bend, nor wiggle. The sun beats down on each of their ribbed, semi-translucent skins. They are encased in a warmth that enlightens and enraptures their imaginations - and so here they dream. Each worm dreams a dream far greater than it’s seeming potential. Each worm dreams a dream that outstretches it’s own ribbed and ever wriggling skin. Each worm dreams a dream too unimaginable for any non-worm to believe possible. Lying stretched across an unsuspected patch of earth’s crust they lie in silence together: like monks, or pencils. And when they feel the moment has come: they stop. And they wiggle these ideas away and wriggle back separately, from where they came from.
